2nd to the Favourite – Terms & Conditions

2nd to the Favourite (the “Promotion”) is offered to you by kwiff Limited (“kwiff”, “we” or “us”). By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which apply in conjunction with the kwiff Terms and Conditions and Betting Rules.

A.1 The Promotion operates as a Money Back as a Surprise Bet, when the customer’s selection finishes 2nd to the favourite in the selected meetings.

A.2 The Promotion runs from 21.10.2024 at 00.01 – 27.10.2024 at 23.59 (the “Promotional Period”).

A.3 The Promotion is only valid to:
(a) new & existing customers;
(b) Residents of UK and Republic of Ireland;
(c) customers aged 18 years or over.

A.4 To qualify for the Promotion, the participant must place a minimum of £/€1 bet on one of the selected races.

A.5 This promotion applies only to single bets. Each-way bets will not count towards this promotion.

A.6 Only the first bet on each race will count towards the promotion.

A.7 This promotion applies to all races with 5 or more runners at the selected meetings.

A.8 In the event of a refund, stakes will be rounded down. E.g.: £/€4.60 stake will be refunded as £/€4 Surprise Bet.

A.9 Winning Surprise Bets will be credited to eligible players on the following business day.

A.10 In the event of a Dead-heat, Dead-heat rules apply. If the favourite is in a dead heat, then the horse or multiple horses in the dead heat will receive a surprise bet, if more than one horse is in a dead heat with the favourite then the value of the surprise bet given will be a % or the number of horse in the dead heat excluding the favourite. For example:
(a) Horse A is the favourite. Horse B is dead-heated with Horse A. 100% of the surprise bet value will be due to customers backing Horse B (win only).
(b) Horse A is the favourite and is dead-heated with Horse B & Horse C. 50% of the surprise bet value due will be given to customers backing Horse B & C.
(c) Horse A is the favourite and wins the race. Horse B is dead-heated for 2nd with Horse C. Customers backing Horse B & C (win only) will receive 50% of the surprise bet value.

A.11 In the event of joint-favourites running in the race and one of them wins the race, customers who bet on the second-placed horse will receive their stake back, divided by the number of horses that were joint-favourites. I.e. 2 joint favourites are running; horses A & B. Customer backs horse C at £/€10. Horse A wins the races but horse C finishes second (to the joint favourite) – the customer that backs horse C would be due the stake, divided by the number of favourites in the race. I.e £/€10 divided by two joint favourites = £/€10/2. A £5 surprise bet would be rewarded. Formula = Stake / no of favourites = Reward (If selection is second to one of the favourites)

A.12 kwiff’s Horse Racing rules apply.

A.13 The maximum Surprise Bet available per qualifying participant is £/€10 per race.

A.14 Winnings from the Surprise Bet can be withdrawn without restriction or play-through requirement.

A.15 Surprise bets must be claimed within 48 hours of issuance or will be forfeited.

General Terms & Conditions

B.1 This website is operated by Kwiff Limited. The service is referred to as GRP Casino. References in these terms and conditions to “GRP Casino”, “we”, “us” or “our” will be to GRP Casino.

B.2 By visiting the App or website, and/or by registering for and/or using the App or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the Betting Rules, our Responsible Gambling Policy, and any other GRP Casino terms, conditions, rules or policies relating to the Services (as defined in A.11 below), as well as any promotions, bonuses, special offers, or any other aspect of your use of the Services from time to time (together referred to as the GRP Casino Rules).

The GRP Casino Rules govern the contractual relationship between you and GRP Casino and supersede all prior agreements, arrangements or understandings between you and GRP Casino, whether oral or in writing.

By opening an account, registering, logging in, or using the Services, you confirm that:

You are subject to the GRP Casino Rules; and
You have read, understood, and will adhere to the GRP Casino Rules.

B.2.1 If you do not agree to any of the Rules, you must immediately stop using the Services.

B.2.2 GRP Casino may update, edit, amend and supplement the Rules at any time. Any material amendment to the Rules shall be notified in advance by us to you before coming into effect.

B.2.3 Failure to confirm your agreement with the revised Rules will prevent you from continuing to use our Services. If you do not want to be bound by any of the GRP Casino Rules and amendments made to them, you must immediately stop using the Services.

B.2.4 All promotions are open only to individuals aged 18 years or over who are physically located in a jurisdiction in which we are permitted to provide the Services, and who hold a verified GRP Casino Account in their own name. Proof of age and identity may be required before participation or withdrawal of promotional winnings.

B.2.5 Each promotion may be subject to its own specific terms and conditions (including, but not limited to, start and end dates, eligible games, wagering requirements, stake limits, maximum winnings, and expiry dates). These will be made available at the point of offer. In the event of any conflict between these General Terms and the specific terms of a promotion, the specific terms shall prevail.

B.2.6 Once you have opted into a promotion, we will not materially change or withdraw that promotion in a way that removes or reduces benefits you have already earned, except where necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, to address errors, or to prevent fraud, unlawful activity, or other abuse. In such cases, any rights or winnings legitimately accrued before the change or withdrawal will be honoured.

B.2.7 Where a promotion includes wagering requirements or withdrawal restrictions, these will be stated clearly in the specific terms of that promotion and will comply with applicable regulatory limits, including any maximum wagering requirement permitted by law. Game weighting and stake limits (where applicable) will also be clearly set out in the specific terms.

B.2.8 We reserve the right to withhold or reclaim any bonus or winnings, and/or to suspend or close any account, where we reasonably believe that you are engaging in fraudulent, collusive, abusive or irregular play patterns. Examples include, but are not limited to, using multiple accounts, acting in concert with others, or exploiting promotional offers in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose.

B.2.9 Unless otherwise stated in the specific terms of a promotion, all unused bonuses, free spins, or other promotional rewards will expire after 7 days from the date of crediting.

B.2.10 We are committed to responsible gambling. Information on tools to help you control your gambling, including setting deposit limits, time-outs, or self-exclusion, can be found in our Responsible Gambling Policy. Links to these tools are provided prominently on our website and App.

B.3 GRP Casino is the owner of all the intellectual property rights (which for the avoidance of doubt includes, but is not limited to, patents, copyright, trademarks, service marks, logos, trade names, know-how or any other intellectual property right which subsist anywhere in the world) in the Services and their content. All content and material on the App or website or otherwise accessible via the Services is provided for your own personal use (i.e. not for commercial use). The distribution, reproduction or commercial exploitation of such content and material in any manner whatsoever without the express written consent of us is prohibited and will constitute a breach of these Terms and Conditions and your right to use the Services will cease immediately. We reserve our right to take such action as it considers necessary, including issuing legal proceedings against you without further notice to you, in relation to any unauthorised use of its data or of the Services.

B.4 You and GRP Casino agree that, subject to the provisions of our Complaints Policy, GRP Casino retains the right to bring proceedings against you in your country of residence or in any other court. The GRP Casino Rules, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

B.5 GRP Casino may wish to transfer its rights or obligations under the GRP Casino Rules to any other company within our Group or any other legal entity (including but not limited to if our Group restructures its business or if there is a sale of some or all of the Group). You agree that GRP Casino may do so provided that in the case of a transfer, after GRP Casino notifies you of the date on which GRP Casino transfers its rights and obligations under the GRP Casino Rules, your rights in connection with the GRP Casino Rules will be against the new legal entity. The GRP Casino Rules are personal to you and you may not transfer your rights or obligations under the GRP Casino Rules to anyone else.

B.6 “Website” means a collection of web pages and related content that is identified by a common domain name and through which the Services are provided to you.

B.7 “Card” refers to all types of cards with a function of payment, charge, debit, credit and/or similar, whether or not used directly to GRP Casino or through a payment gateway or system.

B.8 “GRP Casino Account” means the customer account held by you with us for the purposes of your use of the Services.

B.9 “Force Majeure” refers to any condition or occurrence beyond GRP Casino’s reasonable control which leads to a delay or default in the performance of GRP Casino’s contractual obligation and shall, for the purposes of the GRP Casino Rules, include Acts of God (such as floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, etc.), government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any necessary licence where such denial or cancellation is made through no fault of the affected party), wars, outbreak of hostilities, strikes, lockouts, riots, insurrections, acts of terrorism, theft, civil disturbances and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of GRP Casino.

B.10 “Payment Solution Provider” means an intermediary acting as a payment agent for various different payment methods.

B.11 “Services” means the sports betting and casino services provided to you through the Website.

B.12 “Software” means all software used by GRP Casino to offer and/or operate the Services and/or run the Website.

B.13 “You” and “Your” refer to the registered customer or any other user of the Services.

B.14 “Prohibited Territories” means those countries, states, provinces, territories or other geographic and/or governmental areas where gambling or online gambling and sports betting is prohibited or that are on the sanctions list such as, but not limited to: Afghanistan, Barbados, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dutch Kingdom (Netherlands, Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius, Saba), France, Guinea Bissau, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, United States of America, Yemen, Zimbabwe.B.15“Restricted Territories” means those countries, states, provinces, territories or other geographic and/or governmental areas where gambling or online gambling and sports betting is under the Company’s licence partially restricted such as, but not limited to: Dutch Caribbean including Curaçao and Aruba, Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America and Territories, Serbia, Sweden, Turkey, France.
